We'll drive out of los angeles and ride for hours, sometimes days,
and see a wonderful countryside and miles and miles of space, feilds unoccupied.
I wonder why people live so close togther in the cities.
The cities are where every body is selling something.
All the people are born to live and die as consumers
Creating nothing.
Mass minded idiots
herded together like cattle
Living on top of each other like rats
Blind to the design of this factory
Can't see the trees from the forest
Drive out of the city lights and you will see
you'll go mile and miles through countryside
and see fields and fields unoccupied
Then you'll come to a point where youll see a city in the distance
which will probably be your destination
And there you've come to spend money
or perhaps make money
Its part of the plan Do you know, especially in these communities,
Some one has to design the way the streets will lay out
Where the post offices shall be
the malls the schools etc
And your born to live and die as a consumer

Mass minded idiots
You watch TV everyday to get your daily dose of mind control
You sit for hours
Sometimes you are amused
Sometimes you are soothed.
And once in a while a powerful suggestion of fear
Will cause you not to move
You'll sit in that chair stagnating for the rest of your life

Everybody selling something
Sex,Drugs,Jesus Christ,The easter bunny,Cellular phones,
I'ts all part of the plan
You don't know how to love
